Do partition and file recovery of Sandisk and other usb large drives not normally recognized by OS.

I have had a few USB flash drives lost due to a system failure which obviously has damaged the partition table and made the drives unrecognizable by the the OS (XP) and therefore can't be recovered by any of the normally available USB flash or SD recovery utilities, because they usually require the cards to be recognized by the OS in the first place. Though they do a reasonable job of image recovery but not .cab, .exe, etc. as saved on win or other smartphone SD cards.
